  13 guys stayed here for a golf weekend and the house had plenty of room for all of us. The walk-in fridge and indoor grill were great for the steak and fish dinners we had. The screened in porch is HUGE and a wonderful asset to the house. Overall a great house for a long weekend and we all wish we could have stayed longer. This house is HIGHLY recommended to anyone considering it.

  My husband and I spent a long weekend here and also got married at the Pharr House. It was the best weekend that we could of hoped for. Having all of our friends from out of town stay with us and have the best backdrop for a wedding. We enjoyed our weekend and did not want to leave. We will def be staying here again.

  Our stay at the Pharr House was wonderful. From the minute we walked in the door I felt that I was at is a beautiful home and so very comfortable. My daughter and son in law's wedding could not have been nicer. There was plenty of room for everything and everyone. The yard is spacious as well. The setting could not be anymore beautiful. I would highly recommend the Pharr House.

  We reserved The Pharr House Oct. 18 - Oct. 21, 2012 for our daughter's wedding reception. This property offers a spacious lawn with plenty of room for two tents and a dance floor. Some of the wedding party was able to stay in the house, so that added to the convenience of the rental. The Pharr House is a picture perfect venue loaded with character. Jeff Cline, the property manager was so understanding and accommodating to our planning needs, as well as, during and after the event. Prior to selecting The Pharr House, we had looked at many venues in Charleston and other area locations. Without a doubt, we were so thrilled when a friend in property management shared this well kept secret with us.

  Our family stayed in this house every year for 20+ years when my siblings and I were growing up. That ended about 20 years ago, so we wanted to stay here again for old time's sake and a milestone bday celebration. It worked out great. We loved the very large main room; the very large screened porch that we remember fondly; the large kitchen area w/multiple refrigerators, the walk in cooler and the commercial stove. The bedrooms are spacious and the walk thru the backyard to the beach short. An added bonus is the fact that the beach area associated w/this house is not very populated, so you can spread out if necessary. We all thoruoughly enjoyed our stay and are already discussing doing it again in the future.

    Thanks Bobby, we always look forward to you returning year after year. The kitchen is loaded with amenities (2 fridges, 2 under counter ice makers, double ovens, 6 burner gas stove, large walk-in cooler, and indoor gas grill) but the owners are aware that the cabinets are a bit dated and have discussed updating the look of the kitchen.

  The Pharr house is incredible. The location right in the heart of Myrtle Beach is perfect! The house is a tad outdated, but that doesn't take anything away from it. This place has more features that you could imagine! Indoor grill, walk-in freezer, outdoor showers, anything you could need at the beach they thought of. Perfect place!

  This is the first time our entire family has taken a beach trip together in over ten years. One reason is that we couldn’t find a house to accommodate us the way we want to be accommodated. We are an opinionated, picky bunch and we cook, which seems to be quite an anomaly these days.
  
  Our requirements for our vacation home:
  1) Beach front with easy access
  2) Porch facing the beach that will hold all seventeen of us comfortably
  3) Kitchen with ample work room and storage space
  4) Enough bedrooms for everyone to be comfortable
  5) Probably most important, a dining room large enough to seat all of us in comfort at the same time
  6) Linens and maid service were not a necessity, but certainly added to the joy and relaxation of our vacation
  
  We found everything we were looking for, and more, in the Pharr house.
  
  Seven bedrooms with private baths. The configuration of king, queen and single beds was perfect for our family which ranges in age from a four-year-old to grandparents with all ages in between.
  We have one small complaint. We didn’t find measuring spoons anywhere and couldn’t read the numbers on the one measuring cup. Also some of the pots and pans leave much to be desired. We finally found some good ones but they were mixed in with the bad so at first they were hidden. However, we found good baking pans for biscuits and three rolling pins! Yes, I made biscuits three mornings and muffins twice.
  
  All the members of our family were extremely pleased with the house, so pleased that we’ve reserved it for next year.

  We stayed at the Pharr House April 18-22, 2012 and could not have been happier. The house was larger than we expected, with plenty of room for both families for a couple of days and the location can't be beat. Close enough to everything for convenience but once on the property you feel private and insulated. All our guests loved the location and the view as well. From start to finish it was a perfect location for our wedding.

  My husband and I (along with my parents, both our sisters, and my brother in law) stayed at the Pharr House for our wedding weekend. We had the wedding in the backyard. Throughout the year leading up to the wedding, I had many interactions with Jeff, all of which were good. He was very professional and very helpful. Upon arriving to the Pharr House, we noticed all the landscaping upkeep and how clean the house was inside and out. We met Kevin (with maintenance) shortly after arriving and he let us know he would take care of anything and everything we needed. And he did! Everything ran smoothly and we could not have asked for a better venue to host our wedding ceremony and reception!

  Generally, all was top notch. Wonderful porch, large living room that could accommodate large family activities and a great dining area. We had an air conditioning problem but management responded quickly and had a fix within two hours. The only real negative is that there is a lot of "stuff" related to the kitchen and some of the kitchen pots, pans, utensils, etc were not properly cleaned and were put in drawers as if they were. Great house with a convenient location!!!

  The Pharr House felt like an island paradise that was hidden between condos and high rises on each side. Unlike the more populated buildings close to the Pharr House, you didn't have to fight for your piece of the sand. There was that sense of being a part of the "crowd" at the beach, but having your own privacy also.
  The house itself is older, presenting the character and grace of times past. There are a few things that could be updated, but in no way would these issues get in the way of having anything but a "five star vacation".
  This is absolutely the BEST place to have a destination wedding, as the lawn is spacious and provides an ocean backdrop for the wedding ceremony. What great pictures!
  Jeff, Kevin and Carol, who managed and cared for this beach house were absolutely wonderful and attentive to any issues that might come up and need immediate attention. They are wonderful people and professionals.
  We plan to return as do others that traveled with our group. Can't say enough for this "wonderful piece of property", snugly hidden away in the heart of Myrtle Beach.
